Prelude Auditions (Strings Only)

Audition Requirements for Prelude

Update 3/4/2026: Auditioning Prelude students will be asked to sight read a short excerpt. The difficulty will be slightly below that of the official excerpts. Students should be comfortable reading the primary clef of their instrument.

Update 3/6/2026: All Prelude students wishing to stay within the ensemble for next season will be required to Re-Audition.
