We held a number of great virtual sessions this summer for our students.

Ms. Hutton worked with Emma Wise on violin, Samantha Rauterkus on bass, and Chloe Thompson on cello to create a virtual recording of Barn Dance Saturday Night by Bud Woodruff!  Watch the YouTube video here  Barn Dance!  Thanks to Alvaro Angulo for your video editing work!

In addition to Ms. Hutton’s virtual production we offered two music theory sessions:  Ms. Hutton offered an intermediate level Rhythm Boot camp and Dr. Robinson produced an amazing advanced session called “Off the Beaten Path” that focused on syncopation rhythms.  Ms. John did a great Scales/Arpeggios Olympics and one on Orchestral Bowing Variations.  Mrs. Hastings offered a cello shifting class while Ms Wines did a fun Orchestra Jeopardy game.

We finished the summer offerings with a virtual recital organized by Mrs. Hastings.  Twelve of our student participated and performed beautifully!  It was wonderful to hear them all again!  GCYO Virtual Recital.
